At PROSPECT ELEMENTARY, chronic absenteeism has risen 71% over the 5-year window — from 34.9% in 2015 to 59.9% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 6.9% above in 2015 to 31.9% above in 2020.
